Title: Remember, local rivers may be tidal.....funny
Post by: Hohummm on November 04, 2007, 07:07:58 PM
So, while I was fishing the Stave on Saturday, it started to get really crowded. So busy, that I "almost" stopped fishing (not really, but I did think about it for a millisecond or two). Anyway, these two guy showed up with a small car-topper and an electric motor. Off they went to one of the islands for a little elbow room. I've done this myself on many occasions. Anyway after a while, I hear some of the guys fishing upstream from me yelling. Turns out the boat over at the island had floated away! Couldn't really see what actually transcribed, but shortly after, one of the island guys was standing triumphantly at the head of the island yelling "Thanks" to the other anglers that had notified them of their boat's departure. Looks like he went for a swim to recover it!

So....was it anyone from this board that braved the cold?
