well i tried and failed miserably; but i also took a wrong turn somewhere....went up up up up up; and of course no road signs but saw many cows; turned back after 35mins from the chilliwack road turnoff...

this is the route i tried to take but swear to god; i think i was up over 10o0meters...any one have a better way? or suggest where i turned off wrong?

So close yet so far  :D :D :D

dude. it was like crazy. up the frackin mountain; there is no way that could be the right way - i must have messed up.

in the link i have in the previous post - you can switch to topographical view (to right corner) and see that bench road is not supposed to go abouve 600 meters or so...we were in nose bleed territory..

any idea where i messed up?

and if it's like a secret that is cool..but you can email me here...appreciate it..

cheers

I used the google map in that link as my directions; and when i got up there i followed what was supposed to be bench road but after 35mins of going up we turned back since it seemed we were lost.

and yeah; i guess a hand held gps would be ideal...

i was relying on the google map and it looked like bench road stopped; but now after looking at it - it does appear the smarter way...
