Title: Another Fishy question.
Post by: Fishiefish on September 16, 2007, 10:21:00 AM
Yea, by now you could tell I just started fishing because I ask so many questions :P Anyways, would now be a good time too catch some Rainbow Trout at Buntzen, Lafarge or Sasamat lake? I was told the best time was Fall/Winter. The first Rainbow(and the only one) I caught was on the end of Winter, around Febuary-ish. I also hooked out on Pitt River last week, so I'm wondering if now was a good time.

Watch for Rodney stocking reports - he usually will indicate how many fish have gone into each local lake and what size you could expect.

Okay thanks. But I once tried to fish weeks after they had just stocked Lafarge. I guess they don't bite in summer?

they still bite but the fish lack fight and you will not get as many fish as you would in the spring or fall.
