Title: Dirt
Post by: armytruck on September 15, 2007, 11:23:43 PM
Just a reminder ,   :) You guys and gals  after pounding the Fraser this  summer , don't for get to rinse those reels with some good clean water and then oil ur up for the fresh water rivers . The Fraser is a lot dirtier than most years , so your reel is going to be grinded to the max . Very hard on the worm gear and paul . There is no worse nightmare than to have a big Coho on this year and then ................well , you can't reel it in because your reel does not work like it is so post to . Just a thought :P

Very good advice. I've already got one reel in for repairs.
