What is the highest number of Steelhead you have ever got to the beach on one given day?
I had an amazing day last year where I was able to beach 5 Steelhead in one day and it was a day to remember
I couldn't imagine what it would be like to get more than that, on that day it almost felt like I was constantly getting hookups ;D ;D

In 1990 I had an 11 fish day at thurston meadows in the nursery pool 10 wild and #11 was a 17 lb hatch buck, my partner did'nt hook one ,a old guy came in and his first cast caught a 14-15 lb hatch doe.
my partner dosent like to talk about that day.

I've decided I'm going to have a 15 fish day...Yup!!! but I don't want to limit myself....So who knows, depends on my mood... I just haven't decided when I choose to do it!!!

I have heard from many people that last Tuesday was a day to remember, there must have been a huge push of fish that day !

last tuesday was indeed a day to remember...... a 3 fish day.... saw 12 hooked in the same small run between 3 guys and i landed and wacked my biggest hatchery fish to date.... 21.5 lbs hatch doe..... she was 37.5 inches long!!

The new owner of on the way store keeps track from day to day and he said Tuesday was indeed the day and the numbers just kept dropping from that day on. He even keeps track if it was in the upper or lower. Now don't forget that he gets his info from us fishermen and we all know how we like to exaggerate ;D ;D ;D ;D pmsl.

Strange, no pics of the biggest Vedder hatch in recent times...not to mention the derby winner? you probably got it on the fly too eh? ::)

Secret Flow #2 =10 hooked, 6 landed, 4 lost all in 1hr 30mins. One was a 15-17lb. chrome buck, all wild, BEST STEEL DAY EVER! :o
couple days later 5 hooked, 4 landed 8) 8) 8) (Last Year) (March)

on the vedder one day I had 11 on colorado blades alone,
best day was 13 o the vedder
Dusty from Hubs and I once had 20 fish on the thompson out of 2 runs.

Always Fishing you said you caught a 21.5 lb hatch? Was that a miss type because thats insanely huge, post up a picture of that beast if you did wack it! please do :o

you guys can doubt me all you want... could really care less. I've never fudged a report in my life. I've seen several fish bigger than mine over the years. there's a few 20 plus ponders whacked every year in the chilliwack system. The pic i do have is on my kitchen floor with a tape stretched from nose to fork of tail..... 37.5 inches. I'll post the pic when i get around to it.... or maybe i won't. I caught it short floating a roe bag on a 16 inch leader..... so no... i won't claim to have caught it on the fly.
