Title: Fresh Chum Roe
Post by: DionJL on October 18, 2006, 05:20:11 PM
So i've been to lazy to deal witn the carcass of a chum that i would have to bonk to get fresh roe. I don't have a smoker and as you know they aren't the greatest eating. I have been in  dire need of fresh roe for curing though. So i've been stopping at Bruce's Market in Maple Ridge to get roe. $8/lb seems like alot but whatever. I've bought about 6 skeins so far. However now i've found somewhere to get it cheaper. Riverside Fly & Tackle. $7.50/lb. Not much cheaper but still its closer to home and not way out of the way. SO if your in need of bait for sturgeon or curing drop by Riverside and pick some up.
