Title: Waders
Post by: Sandhead on July 20, 2006, 11:30:09 AM
I'm tired of sweating to death in my Bare neoprene's and I have the cash to upgrade to a set of breathable waders.
What should i look for in a pair of waders? Simm's better than Patagonia or Bare?

I bought a pair of Simms Freestone from Reaction Fly and Tackle (http://www.reactionbaits.com) back in January, so far I have been very happy with them. If you decide to head to Reaction Fly and Tackle, they are having a sale next week and if you trade in your neoprene waders, you'll receive 10% off on a pair of breathable waders.

Sandhead - what size wader do you need. I have a pair pf XXL Bare Blackwater breathables that I'll sell at good price. Never been worn. Email me know if you're interested.

If you are getting rid of your Neoprene waders check the buy and sell forum. Some one is wanting a pair for a cheap price.

Who needs breathables when it gets too hot for the neo's, just wade wet. Breathable or not waders in this weather is asking for heat stroke.

I got a pare of bare blackwaters, so far no rips or torn seams very comfortable. Those Cloudville waders run for about $500+, Blackwaters are around $349. Also simms "guide" waders are ok and run about $375ish.
