Title: Chehalis gravel pit follow-up
Post by: cutthroat on May 26, 2006, 09:49:47 AM
A few months back, a thread was started about a mining company's plans to mine gravel and gold in the Chehalis watershed at Statlu Creek.

At that time, the company (Mosquito Consolidated Gold Mines Ltd.) had issued a press release saying DFO (as well as the chehalis Indian band, FV regional District, etc) "all expressed support for the development").  It emerged that this statement was false (and potentially misleading to investors) --  and list members suggested making a formal complaint to the B.C. Securities Commission.

Did anyone do that, and if so, what was there response?

There is a group that will be meeting in the near future and this topic should be discussed at it. Will report back if I get some info. I believe also the Drift Fishers have been asking some questions about it also, Randog may have some info. You could contact him if he does not answer here.
