The Allouette River has some cutthroats, and Mike Lake is stocked with rainbows.

My brother and I used to hike up to Munroe Lake (i think its in the same area) and flyfish for brookies. There were small, feisty and would hit just about any dry fly we threw at them. I have never fished the creek though (gold creek?) but I remember it looked promising.
