I think the plan is coming together, Pat Quinn is coming back to the nucks with Crawford heading to the laughs. To bad to see him go, but I think a shakeup like this will only do good.

Leaving emotion aside, look at Pat Quinn's record as a coach. He will go down in history as one of the greatest. However, IMO, it would not be a good move to bring him back to Vancouver. That would not be moving forward. It would be a similar situation as in Toronto. That is, a very experienced and capable coach and a rookie GM. Didn't work in Toronto...won't work in Vancouver. ;D

I think that making Nonis GM was a huge mistake!! getting rid of Crawford is retarded!! we need a few new players to get rid of the spoiled ones and Crawford needs better special teams coaches.. I can't see how getting rid of Crawford is going to make any difference to the team, all it is going to do is encourage Bertuzzi to be a whiny baby.. obviously so far his whining is working for him!!!!!

Crawford appeared to be to much of a push over, they need someone who's not going to take sympathy from anyone and discipline them if they don't show good worth ethic. I think Quinn would do that but other coaches would be good options to. Nonis is a wimp as well though so who knows what's going to happen.

cupcakes Quinn and Crawford both had teams that finished with over 90 points, I was a Canuck fan when they would have given a parade for any coach with that kind of record.
