Iy is a good news, however how long is it gonna take before all farms are self contained?

I fear by the time it happens the wild stocks are gonna be low.

Salmon have a naturally high intrinsic rate of increase, so they are capable of rebounding substantially if given the opportunity. We just have to make sure that the fishing pressure is managed sustainably by science, and unnaturally high populations of sea lice (lepeophtheirus salmonis) are not annihilating fry and smolts on their outward migration.
