Hi Dave, I always need volunteers so you're welcome to join us. We always lack volunteers on the pier to help kids with the fishing so it's hard for the helpers to take a break during the event.

Ok, no problem.

Do I just show up? or is there a plan in place for meeting etc?

Sorry haven't gotten back to your email yet, I was away for a few days staring at fishless lakes.

Yep, just show up on the day at around 9am and we'll put you to work. It should be fun. ;) I'll be sending out a email to everyone who is interested in volunteering around a week before the event.

Back up to the top. :) We are now just over two weeks until the event.

Breaks? There are no breaks, maybe not even lunch this year if the sandwich woman doesn't show up. ;D

nothing like putting on a bit of pressure.....  :o :D
will discuss with the boss tonight, as we have not yet gotten a call for the middle 2 kids to go to camp as a spare in the first intake and as far as I know all the kids in the first intake have received their travel orders already.....but who knows!
ps: is there going to be a BBQ, that might affect my decision.... :P

Back up to the top! We are now less than two weeks until the event and I have received quite a few emails from parents who would like to bring their kids on July 10th, so it should be another good one as long as the weather co-operates.

Ten days to go. ;D

So far I've heard back from Dragonspeed, Rantalot, Britguy (?), Funeral of Hearts, Buckwife & family (?), IamCanadian, newsman regarding volunteering, plus a few more from flybc.ca. We still need a few more people so if you are available and interested, please let me know. The more people helping out kids on the pier the more fun it is for everyone as it would mean less stress.

Ok, if they show up, you're in charge of all of them by yourself. ;)
