what's your wish list?
« on: July 29, 2004, 05:59:02 PM »

Well this has been a good topic of discussion in my forum so let's start it here.

What's your fishing wish list........... I know it's early for chirstmas but hey it gives the wife time to save up for your big gift that you're dying to have.

Here's what some of the boys want.

I want the cute girl(s) at work, the cute girl next building over, the sexy punk girl up the block from me, re-arched leaf springs for my truck, basement full of ammo/rifles, revenge on the guy who "had relations" with my ex girlfriend, bagfull of money (1,000,000 plus), and a big slab of tuna for my evil cat.

oh and a Beowulf cluster consisting of 1000 X quad 64bit processors, 10 GB memory per motherboard (10,000 GB memory total), and a RAID array of 5000 x 500 GB flash memory hard drives.....................thats about it.........

I just give my wife a weekend pass to Babcocks and tell her to pick something.

I usually wind up with new socks, but last Christmas I got a new downrigger rod & reel as well as a sturgeon set up :D  I wonder how lucky I'll be this year  :o

It was 45,000 brand :o. Him and his roomate went 50/50 on it so that's all good. The best part is it's a 30 year payment plan but they can pay it off anytime they want in small incriments towards the principal. So if all goes well they'll have it paid off in 10 years. The other cool point is some of the older jet boats that are like 13-15 years old still go for 30 -35 G's so they hold thier value very well. When I get back from Japan I'll be getting one too!

here 's more info about it.
