Anyone know when the best time to fish the Stamp is ???
-
Usually depends on water levels....but years ago mid Sept. rocked for springers. Thought about heading back there. I hear this year is going to produce hogs.

Depends on what you're fishing for. Sept - October excellent for chinooks and cohos
-
The coho will be coming in droves around mid september regardless of the water levels or temps. Of course they are more apt to bite when the water levels rise and the temps cool off. The spring fishing should get good around the beginning of October if we get some rain.

Springs should be in the river by mid September. There are some big ones in that river system

Last year the Springs were showing the 1st of Sept. The Coho hit about mid month. As was said rain or not. this year may be differnt as the Stamp is really low. They may hold outside longer untill it does rain. Thank God today it;s pouring here. Any one coming over give me an e mail.
