When life settles down on my end I plan to start putting in again myself.

Nothing for me this year again.... So i guess i have to drive the extra miles up north again for my Moose and elk... But on the other hand, my buddy's family got almost everything bull moose and white tail doe for him, Van island bull elk for the wife, his daughter  got a cow/calf elk and a mule doe, son got nothing.... what a family.

they put up north where the ratio is 3:1 and 2:1 but its a 1 hour fly in, except for the elk, so if u got the money and time u can have fun.

The draws seem random that's for sure.

I know guys who have a hard time getting draws, even when putting in for the same thing as guys who get them year after year.  ??? ???

yup, I've only seen 2 doe draws in the mail in all my years of hunting. I was gonna pick a different area this year but at the last minute went with the region i always put in for... and whaddya know... I finally got it.

King Pin... cool to see a fellow Metis on the board, I had no idea.
I hear through the vine that things may change for us here in B.C. soon. The B.C. metis nation is currently validating all metis citizens to form a comprehensive list for indian affairs.
I have a friend who is F.N. from alberta and he told me to come out that way to hunt. I have permission from the band council in Grande Cache to hunt thier lands, they have always welcomed Metis. Just haven't gotten over that way yet.

That would be great  more money removed from the conservation officers and game biologists........Something to be really proud of.......

it comes in handy when i wanna chase whitetails and elk on reserve land in alberta and saskatchewan...putting that to the test this fall. they like us on the reserves over there :D
but one day i see changes for us in b.c., hopefully sooner than later
