Title: Chilliwack River, July 13th - 21st, 2022
Post by: Rodney on July 22, 2022, 12:57:09 AM
No, I didn't fish everyday... ;) I've been popping down to the river for an hour at a time during some evenings once the sun goes behind the mountains. Somehow I managed to hook one in the first five minutes when I went out on the 13th, but it quickly came off. Last weekend it got really busy as most had heard the fish were moving in. There is also a good abundance of sockeye salmon in the river now and they need to be released with care. I popped another one off in the first five minutes again two evenings ago. Tonight I saw quite a few fish rolling in the lower river but it was too dark to have any good results so I didn't bother.
