Hello lm now living on Quadra Island. Im looking for lakes I can drive my car to and launch my rubber raft. To fish for trout. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you

salmon fishing either from shore or by means of a small boat may also be possible if you choose locations carefully. Do a search on this site for Quadra island shore fishing

Not sure what your raft is like but I have caught salmon and all manners of other fish off Rebecca Spit in my kayak. I found the key was fishing first or last light when the bait fish would be shallow.

I have fished briefly at the Village Bay lakes as well. Caught a few trout but nothing of any size, was a nice paddle around though.
