Is there something wrong with folks that work in the Ministry of Environment for this province. Not admitting that the fish kill is not directly related to the jet fuel spill is ludicrous. Also they should be out there putting out booms to contain the aftermath of the spill. To take the stance that the flowing water will clean up the mess does not provide much peace of mind to the residents who live below the spill.
I also feel the company involved should be footing the bill for the fuel spill, and the associated costs of the cleanup.
<Update: there was an evacuation alert on Friday night to residents in the area which was lifted Saturday>.  Also the only crew which is equipped to handle such fuel spills is based out of Calgary. Why is that? Especially if this province wants to develop pipelines in environmentally sensitive areas of this province.

The reason is simple: BC is the cheapest province in Canada. 

We pinch a penny so hard its reduced to its atoms.  A province full of tightwads in million dollar houses.

But we drink Starbucks coffees every day!
