 I'm pretty sure under the heading general dis. It says ask a fishy question. Meet some new people or just say hi. But thankyou for the warm welcome 8)

He was referring to the personal profile thread that you've found, but definitely nothing wrong with saying hi in a new thread. Welcome. :)
