didnt have any ultra green at the store i went to, all sold out.... so i thought i'd give it a whirl.   anyone tried it?

YES!!! i have about 6 spools of Chameleon...love it!!!! use it for leaders, and a mainline for my fishing poles. very thin, very strong. disapears underwater at around the 1 foot mark. very successful lake fishing with this stuff!!

this is the line that i consisently buy and always have several spools on hand. a favorite standby, would buy more if i could find bigger spools.

I use it (leaders only) for BBing the Fraser 8).  Have done so for 8 years now.  Resists abrasion and its a bit stiffer.  If you're intending to use it for the Fraser, its a good choice.  I've not used it elsewhere.

Isnt that the dark brown stuff...I would have never believed it would blend in underwater.

Yea, that is great line. I have used it mostly for springs on the Vedder as a leader.... 8)

A great line and it is used by a lot of us for centre pin reels as it is a little stiffer than ultra green and has better abrasive qualities.

Hi Matt....red and orange and brown colors disapear first in the water due to the color spectrum filtering light. these colors happen to be at the top of the spectrum. if you string blue mono line and a piece of red or brown mono in a pool, and then look up while under the water, the blue stands out like a pulsating light!! the red or brown are non existant (at the 2 foot mark)

I have never had more problems with break off's with any other line....I will never buy this stuff again.  It seems very susceptible to nicks incured during fishing.  If you use it, re-rig often.
