On the discovery channel a while back I was watching a documentary on ogopogo. Apparentally according to the documaentary a women saw something swimming up behind her child and pulled out a 12 gauge shot gun and took 2 shots at the mytserious wake. 2 days later they found a massive Sturgeon washed up on the lake shore with 2 bullet holes in it. I looked for this on the google but couldn't find it. If any one else can hopefully the can post it.

sounds like a crock to me....

who has a 12 guage handy while theyre out on the lake swimming?  who would take a shot with a shotgun with your kid so close? shotgun pellets would lose a ton of velocity the moment they hit the water.  I'm calling BS.

That Nicole and her brother probably do. Pack it along with the chainsaw.

Remember that Sturgeon have been around for over 100 million years folks.
Anything is possible if these waterways were connected at one time, and in Sturgeon time thats a long long time.
Ive allways thought that Ogopogo was a Sturgeon to.

Yes but there is no proof period of them being there. Just like with BigFoot, Ogopogo etc You would think there would be a picture somewhere to prove this and I have yet to see one or one tv show that has shown one in that lake too.

If they were in there someone would of caught one by now or some evidence like a dead one washing up or a baby one in a fishes stomach etc.

But to date there is not one shred of evidence to support this claim.

In the documentary the people have a cabin by the lake, the mom was on the porch and the fish was about 50 feet away from her kid.

Have any of you guys seen okanagan lake. Its huge and deep. Theres shafts running to 1,200 feet and caves going deep under the mountains. There has to be sturgeon. How deep do you think they would be at.
