Title: Study Charts shocking decline in Chum Salmon in Central BC

Over the last half century wild chum have declined by over 90% in 25 surveyed watersheds. The study links declines to ocean warming, inter species competition and hatchery chum production:

Fraser decline is no different i think i read in the 1950s and earlier the average harvest was 80 million pounds.

Great article thanks Ralph.  Some of the findings really do make it a crap shoot on whether or not the returns will be abundant or not.  If there was only some way to protect the littles when they hit the salt...  Or just move to Terrace lol.
