Does anyone know how ambelside has been for salmon, with all the hot fishing these days?  I'm thinking of going out casting from the pier there and am looking for maybe some suggestions...

If your going for salmon go to the mouth of the capilano which is on the other side of ambleside.  I have yet to see anyone catch a salmon off that pier...

lol fishing off the pier is for flounders and perch o and a octopus some guy caught :P

exactly dont waste your time if your fishing for salmon...

no to mention how is one supposed to land a coho or spring from that dock.... ???
