I wear whatever pants I've got on - jeans or sweats.  I put on an extra pair of thick winter socks over top and tuck my jeans into them.  I'm usually pretty comfortable and no man gravy so far.   :P

Haven't tried this in warm weather yet but I hope to have breathables by then anyway.

Before I switched to breathables I used to go bare.  I tried to wear polypropylen lj's but I had a tough time keeping them from pulling up my legs as I put them on.  However, when I did get the poly p's on right it was far more comfortable.  my .02 worth

When i use neos i use the thinnest pair of sweats i can find...walmart brand are cheap and good.Since going to breathables i dont want to put the stinkys on any more.
