Unfortunately biffchan has told everybody where it is.

Everybody? Well..... How come I don't know? :-\ So, where is it? ;)

Clarki, why would you even try to find it? You show a lack of respect for doing so. He didnt want everyone finding out and you just had to know.

Lack of respect? Hardly... A few photos are posted, the temptation of knowing the location is there. Last time I checked, public streams are accessed by ALL users. Stating that he knows where the stream is does not show a lack of respect, NAMING the stream on the other hand, is a different story.

I post photos from time to time even when I do not wish to have my locations exposed. I do those at my own risk. If someone ends up identifying the location, I wouldn't like it, but it would be my own fault at the end.

what are the regulations on local creeks?
hard to find em on the dfo website, just curious.
nice fish!

For Lower Mainland:

Region 2 freshwater regulations
Salmon regulations of streams of Region 2

Scroll down and look for a specific stream name that you are searching for. Look for the regulations right next to it. Check for opening sections, times, bait ban/other gear restrictions, daily quotas and minimal sizes. It really isn't that hard.

My point exactly Rod. To disclose the name would show a lack of respect. Notice I didn't do that.

You can't throw down the gauntlet and give the location, type of water, run size and presence of a hatchery, and not expect some curious souls with enquiring minds to do their own research.

I could have done the research and not posted about it, but I wanted to make a point. If you're going to post pictures and drop hints, sooner or later folks are going to put the pieces together.

Gee, I feel like a hacker half my age.

Rodney, this stream is no more then 10 feet wide in a lot of places, it is not posted in the regs.  Any kind of retension on a creek like this would be detrimental.   The pictures make the stream look bigger than it is, just because it is this big slow pool.  Frankly, im really glad its not in the regs, it would most likely just draw attention to it.  There are streams every where in the lower mainland and quite frankly most of them get some form of a coho and cutthroat return, even in very developed areas, people just never pay any attention and ignore them.
