Underwater video: Chilliwack River steelhead and post angling garbage

some good shots of wild fish near the limit hole. Also I have often wondered how much lost tackle is stuck in the river bed. From what these 2 found it looks like quite a lot and also provides evidence on use of illegal tackle:

Can you imagine how much lead there is in the entire river? I can't even begin to fathom...

The Aquatic Monkey channel puts out high-quality content regularly and is worth a follow. He recently had a video about freediving under the ice in a frozen lake, as well as some underwater bottle collecting. He also does some salt water dives too. Him and PNW Samson both have great content filmed in BC waters!

based on the amount of illegal gear found at the limit hole, fisheries officers should set up a camera there to catch the ner do wells

Thanks for sharing, and echoing their words, please always pick up garbage on all your trips to minimize our impact. Sometimes even when I'm "resting" a run or fishing is not great, I just walk around shore picking up garbage until I fill my pockets. You do find usable gear every now and then!
