2019 Oolichan run

Does anyone have any info. on this years Oolichan run?
Curious as to how they are doing because i heard mention that the run was improving.
It would be great news if that were the case.

Based on my last 2 Sturgeon trips this week I'm not seeing near as many as this time last year. That doesn't mean it's worse than last year (which was a decent runs compared to other years).

We did see a FN boat pulling in his net with Oolichans in it. I checked online to see if there was an opening but did not see any.

There have been some communal openings for eulachon this past week.
