Seen on local tv sports report that the event had big crowds.
Correct me if I'm wrong, as it seems it lasted for only two days & teams had to play multiple games!!!
Doesn't a team need 1-7 days off to rest up as rugby is very physical. Put the Canucks & Lions out there & after 10 minutes of play 1/2 of them would have to be helped off the field. ( no pads )
Understand Canada got a tie the first game. Then they were to play the USA so wondering if Nova you know who won that game?

Yep - The USA with one last play. The games are 14 minutes, 2 seven minute halves, 7 players a side.Hard and fast and really entertaining I used to play for the Evergreens out of Brockton Oval in Stanley Park.  The club has a pretty rich tradition and we've hosted teams from around the world as well as  everyone from Steven Tyler, Maggie Thatcher's husband Dennis (quite the drinker ;)), Errol Flynn, Sean Connery and ME  ;D. Rugby is a hooligans sport played by gentleman.

7 guys have to cover a lot of realestate. Plus not very much time to catch your breath. Fast paced game.
Gotta have a mix of muscle & speed. Quite a few notable famous names there. Errol Flynn wax a great Robin Hood & also sailing ship movies if my memory serves me correctly. Good stuff.
Ya just know a play may take a cheap shot. Elbow knee foot steps on hand head butt ....guessing on this by knowing human nature ....
