Brings back memories when I lived on the island and rowed my drift boat down the Stamp back in the 90s hooking between 10-20 fish a day. Those were the days. Thanx for sharing. Nice job filming Rod.

Good video Rod and Kitty  :) . However , It does discourage me to see a guide land the Steelhead , after all the expense for the trip and tips . I would have probably ask him to pass over the rod . After all, he most likely lands more Steelhead than client's do . Sorry but , am I wrong to think like that  ???

The normal guided fishing trip the guide wouldn't even be fishing actually. We're producing a show here so it's a little different...

Nice to see a guide hook fish, goes to show they are able to hook fish in tuff conditions and in turn guide you where you can hook fish, if you dial it in and ignore the scenery and the soup  ;D

I actually go there just for the soup and hold the camera. ;)

Obviously, it's certainly for not catching steelheads. :D

When I did numerous jet boat trips on the Stamp with guide Greg Mcinroy, he always fished and usually hooked the majority of the steelhead when anchored. I'm talking 10-20 hook ups per day back then. When operating the boat in a fast drift he would just direct you where to cast too. He always handed the rod over for you play the fish when he hooked one. Great video Rod. Enjoyed it.
