1989 Mariner/Yamaha 30HP manual start, tiller handle, relatively rare short shaft model, two stroke.  Runs great, no issues.  I have had it for 3 years and it has been flawless.  Pushes my boat to 30mph.  Going 4 stroke to fish restricted lakes and 10HP limit lakes.

I have a mariner 2.5 hp, even the same year I believe. Runs like a swiss watch, I love it! Someone's gunna get a sweet motor

Yes, they are very well made motors.  I will look for another if/when the time is right.

I wish I could justify a brand new 4 stroke without having to sell this one.
