Henry Burris Retires.

Burris QB for the Ottawa Renegades is going out on top after winning the 2016 Grey Cup.
Think he played for 14 or so seasons. Sk Calgary Hamilton  & then to Ottawa.
For me it was the most exciting Grey Cup game ever. David & Golith  ( sp?)
Stamps were to walk all over them but as the game turned out Ottawa built a big lead, & Calgary came storming back & at end of the game it was tied.
So so so many exciting plays & turn of events.
In OT Ottawa pulls it out.
Very smart of him to retire as he has nothing more to prove at his age. (42?)
Ali made the big mistake to box on past his prime. He got beat up & out classed in his last fights.
Side note: in less than 2 wks it's the Falcons vs Patraits. Two of the very very best teams & best QBs.

Nice way to end his career. Agree that last year's Grey Cup is for the ages. Great game. Glad they won over Calgary.

Nice way to end his career. Agree that last year's Grey Cup is for the ages. Great game. Glad they won over Calgary.
The Stamps had such a great regular season ( 1 loss I believe ) & win the Western Final.
Dave Dickerson's 1st season as head head & he was so so intense. He would yell at his players/ yell at officials  & he would even get mad at some issue even though his team was up by 30 pts & 2 minutes left in the game.
John H GM also wants to win very very badly.
Sure can't fault them for desiring to win though as some coaches seem to have that " oh well we lost "
Henry Burris from what I seen can have very up/down games & it was so great to see him perform so great in the big game.
It sure looked like the Stamps were going to win it at the end of the game. It would of been such a heart break loss as they gave up such a lead.
As it turned out Ottawa won it. Mitchell is that his name the QB for Calgary was the one who had the pressure get to him. He showed a lot of frustration.
Big loss & you just know Dickerson will never get over it.
He will be more intense this coming season as he wants revenge.
Hamilton coach is another guy who goes crazy when he loses. ( hey both coaches ex CFL QBs )
