Reel Repairs
« on: October 20, 2016, 05:46:01 PM »

Usually reel repairs are backed up during the valleys salmon season and today I damaged the idler on my Calcutta and although I have two I stopped by Mikes Reel Repairs in Abby to leave the reel to be fixed. I've always had good luck there in the past and today was no different. The reel is going to be good to go tomorrow. That's customer service.

Same here. Dropped off Tuesday ready Wednesday. The spincast needs a major overhaul though so it'll be in for a few weeks. Make sure you test the reels when you get them back though, there was a slight problem with mine when it was returned to me but Mike fixed it quickly and o on the spot and outs running great now.

I dropped off a reel at mikes back in august, and I had to call em about a week ago to see what was going on since I didn't hear back from them.Turns out they didn't work on it, but the lady I spoke with on the phone made sure to push it through, and it was ready to go later that day.
