Channel Islands Fishing adventure Part 2 (July 23rd)

First off....mackerel rules! You just peel it off the bones and eat...bbq in olive oil with some herbs...awesome. (not west coast mackerel...Atlantic mackerel)

OK..lots to report....we have been spear fishing for turbot....there have been some lobsters trapped, and ALOT of pollack caught. I have sent Rod the pics....he can sort out which ones he would like to post.

We also spent some time sneaking around the awesome German occupation sites around the island. In the pic attached, I am hiding because we are kind of in an "off limilts" area.

Enjoy...and save some sockeye for me.

The picture of the big flat fish is a Turbot.

try shore to France heavy guns! The Jerry's could reach France with some of ther bigger guns they had on guernsey.
