Went fishing today in the pouring rain at Deer Lake. Nice to get the place pretty much to myself. Brought a 5-piece pack rod and the tip went flying off on the second cast... and I got snagged... and the line broke... and the leader didn't catch on the guides... and that piece was missing the rubber stopper so it doesn't float. *sigh* It's a cheap rod but I've had it for 19 years and it's got sentimental value.

Lost it next to the outflow on the north side, down the lawn from the Hart house. I'll add a shot of the rod (just missing the skinniest piece) and a map with marker.

Offering $20 if anyone finds it. I know it's probably gone... it's either on the bottom or it's floated out on the creek because the lake's so high
