looking for pics of the fraser full anglers.

My title says it all............ I'm going Mahi Mahi fishing with lures and the japanese anglers are worried I'm not able to combat fish with them. Basically we'll all be side by side and I wanna show them I can cast with the best.  When I was in Van I would sometimes fish the scale bar, if you've fished there you know what I mean.

So do you have some pics of the fraser of anglers side by side?

The boys I talk to said I hope you're able to cast with many people next to you. My feeling is if I can fish the fraser than no problem. Of course this game that I'll be doing has strong winds and the lures are 120 grams max but still I can do itttttttttttt!!!! 8)

Take a look at some reports from past of this fun game.

I'm slowly getting all the gear I'll need for this. I just got a shimano 4500 Saltiga blast good for 100 m casts, next is the rod. I'm so excited.

Meh!  The Fraser dance looks tougher.  What's with the guys in in the 915 pic that have their faces pixelated?  Embarrassed?

One facet of fishing for MahiMahi that would be tougher is that they are a much harder fighting fish than any Salmon.

They go ballistic running and jumping all over the place and in tight quarters you might have to run up 'n down that breakwater-which looks like a good place to break a leg-in the Fraser all you can do is fall in the mud.

Those Japanese spinning rods sure are long on the butt-tougher to fight a fish that way look at how the one guy is holding his rod almost straight while the fish runs-he's not using the strength of the rod at all and is quite likely to lose that fish if the battle goes too long.

Interesting stuff Nigel-Thanks.

yes I think they are better fighters than a salmon and bigger too! One thing I've been todl Sam Salmon is they are very acrobatic fighters (like you said) so I can't wait!!!

When I go out with these boys I'll post a report for you guys to drool over.

no kidding....if i fish with my longpole (30 feet), i can simply stand on waters edge and literally drop my line/BB weight/hook/wool into the water. bang fish on. this whole casting out business is nonsense!!

VIVA la LONGPOLE REVOLUTION!!!!!!
