Hello everyone,

There's still room for 3 individuals that wish to register for 2015 North American Loch-Style Fly Fishing Championships, and help us to fill 3 vacant spots that remain on 2 of the teams. So if you have a 12 or 14 foot boat with a gas motor and have always wanted to join in on the fun, this is your chance! Beyond fishing with a great group of people, this is an incredible opportunity for you to sit in a boat and fish beside 5 different highly-skilled fly fishers and learn by their example and through the sharing of knowledge. Please note that previous competition angling experience is not necessary in order to participate at this event (I'd be more than happy to offer you some personal coaching, as will your team mates that you'll be assigned to fish with).

This year's championship takes place from June 9th to the 13th. The championship consists of five, 3-hour sessions of competition that will be held on Tunkwa Lake (Thursday, June 11th) and The Trojan Pond (Friday and Saturday, June 12th and 13th). Competitors will compete as members of 5-man teams, but will be divided into five letter groups, with each group consisting of one member from each team. All of the groups/competitors will be competing on the same venues for all 5 sessions. Here's a link to this year's event where you can find more details: http://www.flyfishingchampionship.com

We will have a total of 14 teams (70 competitors) participating at this year's championship, which includes current and past members of the Canadian National Fly Fishing Teams (coming from all across Canada), as well as teams and individuals flying in from Eastern states of the U.S.A., England, and Scotland. Competitors will be competing for individual and team medals, as well as "The Cup". All proceeds and funds raised from this competition and the auction go directly to B.C. Children's Hospital.

Please contact Todd Oishi if you're interested in participating in this year's competition or have any questions or would like more details: info@innovativeflyfisher.com

For me, the quality of a trout is not measured in pounds and inches, but rather by the journey and circumstances that allowed our paths to cross...
