A look back from the first days of the Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Society. Also fishing the famous or infamous KWB Run (Keith Wilson Bridge.)

Even then. It is shoulder to shoulder fishing.

It looks worse then. But I don't really do KWB during salmon season too often.

Wow - Rodney didn't have any grey hairs then. Then Nina came into the picture and now Rodney has grey hair. This can not be a coincidence.  ::)

I sure walked my share of Springs out of that hole and all the holes to the #1 Bridge.

Didn't like to use the long leader there due to all the lines flogged into one hole but I sure remember having 6-8' of line from the float down to the weight. Drifted - not bounced.

Used to love it when someone would drop a shopping cart off the bridge and into the hole. Or the sandbags and ropes. That would just kill the drift then some young guy would go up an jump off the bridge to get those item out. Good old gong show days.
