Salute To The Sockeye, Always Worth A Visit

Filmed this short video a week ago at the Adams River, hard to belive these fish were chrome bullets a few weeks ago.

Not much red in that river for the quantity that are supposed to be there already. My buddy is shooting a doc there and say's the fish are definitely late arriving. Seems odd as there were so many here a few weeks ago. Heading there on the 25th and hoping to see more fish in the river.

I noticed that too, usually the Thanksgiving weekend has a lot in the area.

Other thing of note is the river has changed a ton in the past year, let alone the past 4 years.  It is now harder to get to good viewing spots as a result from the trail.

I have been benefiting from the river moving.It has allowed me to use my wading skills from the Chilliwack to find many large trout in spots with no other people.A little bushwacking has provided a world class experience
 this year.
