"Nova, if any proof shows Atlantic salmon farms here in BC are harming Pacific salmon, I will gladly renounce my pro farming stance. Hell, I might even congratulate Almo!"

"the result of poor regulatory controls and disease prevention protocols"

Your now answering your own question. What were you thinking? Now you'll have to congratulate you know who. ;D

That is not true.  Many times I have said I believed Atlantic salmon farms have done harm to wild stocks … but only where Atlantic salmon are indigenous.  The issues in Chile were mainly the result of poor regulatory controls and disease prevention protocols.

Nova, if any proof shows Atlantic salmon farms here in BC are harming Pacific salmon, I will gladly renounce my pro farming stance. Hell, I might even congratulate Almo!
