Hicks lake

Got some friends heading up to hicks lake first week of June to do some campingand fishing, thinking about going with my wife and 17 month old daughter but after talking with a couple people who have been there in the past couple years, who complained about Goose crap and the rash there children got from swimming thinking about going somewhere different, anyone been there recently, thnx

Was there during the April long weekend. Water was nice and clear, good fishing.

The backroad fishing mapbook does mention of swimmer's itch.

My dad and I were there just before the April long weekend and fishing was excellent.
