There are only 8 more sleeps until the big 2014 Fly Fishing Film Tour event at Fred's in Abbotsford!
Ticket sales have been brisk for the May 10th event, and with limited seating we're looking forward to a sold out show.
Over and above the fantastic ensemble of short films, there's going to be....
• A free fly casting competition sponsored by Sage and RIO - everyone who participates will receive a 3-pack of RIO leaders;
• Door prizes from Costa, Simms, Loon, Dr. Slick, G.Loomis, Echo, Airflo, Scientific Angler, and more;
• A 50/50 draw to help raise funds for the local Canadian Youth Fly Fishing Team;
• Grand prize draw for a Ruddicks Ranch Fishing Adventure on Onion Lake;
• Amazing smoked meat delicacies will be available from Poomba's Smokehouse - 10% of sales going to the local Canadian Youth Fly Fishing Team;
• Plenty of cold refreshments for anglers of all ages;
• There will also be a number of incredible event day only in-store promotions with savings up to 75% on select products.
The food truck opens its doors at 5:00pm, with the RIO casting competition following suit, and the films starting up at 7:00pm-ish. Tickets are only $15 in advance or $20 at the door (if still available), and can be purchased at either of Fred's locations or on-line through Ticket River.
