After reading the last link you posted http://salmonconfidential.com/busting-the-myths/ I can't understand why they would put a freeze on the feedlots....  apparently "Farms actually take up very little space, even in the narrowest channels. Wild fish encounter viruses and bacteria in the wild all the time. Microbes are the most dominant form of life in the ocean and it’s no surprise that fish sometimes get infected and die. It’s wrong to assume viruses from farms will fill entire channels ......

Apparently the BC government wasn't sent the link before they made their decision?!?

It's an election year. Great crop returns and unprecedented organic growth as the manure season hits the high point.
