dolly day may 24th
canoe man:
well what a beauty mornin, met up with leadbelly at secret spot #324 ;D
lots of fish rising, some jumping, some eating lol
finally one took the bait and yeah fish on!!!
after 5 min of gentle persuasion a beauty 19" dolly was safely in the net ;D
man am i glad leadbelly bought that long reach soft net ;) makes landing and realeseing so much quicker and easier.
after a quick pic it was safely back on its journey :)
this is my very first dolly so i can now strike another species of my list ;D
after that there was a few more good takes with one fish giving me some good head shakes but nothing to the shore :(
so time to head out and thats when it all comes crashing down >:( >:( >:(
my truck wont start, lots of juice but no go
a tow was required from my good friend back up the hill and then i was able to bump start it rolling back down :P, thank god for standards :D
