the dikes which run along dewdney slough and  lougheed hwy, are they public access ? some of the properties bordering on the slough have gates put across the dikes . can i just go around those gates or would it be trespassing ? thanks

Yeah, you can go anywhere, just make sure you've got a bullet proof vest and you'll be ok.
