I did not like it but only looked at it while driving, mild here tonight around 8c but rain has stopped. Maybe someone else looked at it at the end of the day?

  • nothing like the first bite of the season

Blown out or does it look fishable ?

put it this way, i drove out from Richmond and fished for about 2 hours before the water turned to a greyish clay colour...i would give it a day or two depending on how persistent the rain is.

It was snow & rain when I left today. Looked at the crossing when leaving and there was about 3 1/2 feet of visibility which is perfect I think.

thanks for the reports. Trying to decide which flow to fish tomorrow. Going to keep an eye on the river levels over night and decide in the morning probably

was out yesterday too. Had at least 3 hrs of working runs and was in bliss, when water turned that grey claylook.
Water also looked on the rise. Hoping to get out again tomorrow if conditions are right.
Thanks for the input guys, guess i'll have to watch b.c.water levels page.

According to the news there is a weather warning for the south coast. Apparently 50mm of rain for the Fraser valley over night.
Will have to make the call in the am

River was fine in the Lower when I fished from 3:30 to 5 but the fishing was not. Sure was miserable as it was pouring the whole time, will be nice to sleep in tomorrow. ;D

Water about 2-3km from boundary was alright. Even then the bank was only fishable. Heard of one caught, a good screw around and calorie burning day   ;D
