Set up for Cap

What is the usual setup used for Bait fishing (roe, shrimp) on the Cap? Float, bottom bounce???? ???

Usually float fishing if you are using bait.

I like to go light. 2 to 6lb setups. Normally, 6lb main, smallest Drennan Piker or Zeppler float, with appropriate running weight and a small swivel tied on at the end of the main. This is followed by a 1.5 to 2 feet of leader that is between 4 and 6lb test. Hook size at the end is a #2 or #4 steelhead hook.

Thanks guys. Been fly fishing for the last while (since moving to BC) and have never bait fished for Salmon. Think I will give it a try for a change :D
