Getting rid of the HST is not necessarily a good thing. Like everyone I dont like the way it was introduced but allot of what it is works for this province. You will now see the film industry go down in flames unless the government give them some tax breaks. Many businesses will also suffer.

I have always been a Liberal but at this point in time I dont like any of the parties.  I will not vote for Dix.

Alex has a great web site that I like to pass on to others. :)

It's a pity people don't realize what the history of BC rail was, and what a major sell out that deal was. Were all going to find out soon though. But by that time most won't even remember BC Rail. I suppose ignorance is bliss.

A real Liberal? or a fake Liberal like the Social Credit/BC Reform calling themselves liberal? If the latter then John Cummins would suit you.

The Film industry gets loads of tax breaks as it is and was going strong ling before HST and will continue to.

The reason this province is in the mess it is in is because the conservatives calling themselves liberals ruined things. The convention centre over runs was more than fast ferries yet the very bias media never harps on that or the Canada line over runs, BC Rail, BC ferries, increasing fees to the people while eliminating out right the corporate capital tax for banks, reducing corporate taxes from 16.5% to 10%.  So where is all this prosperity with HST, corporate tax breaks, Olympics we were suppose to have?  BC is fast becoming a low wage conservative province with natural resource jobs disappearing only to be replaced by low wage service jobs.

Dix will win next year and Muclair in 2015 so get used to it, times are changing and people are seeing what damage right wing governments are doing. They only care about corporations and big business.  Average people and small business they could care less about and if anyone does not see that well I pity your ignorance.

Perhaps instead of your usual attacks on the messenger you might actually point out what you consider to be the flaws in his reasoning.

I thought I was pretty clear that all of his reasoning is flawed.

Aye, I bet not but a humble pirate, and I rarely be a wading in to another man's affairs.  But us pirates, we be far more democratic than the rest!  Aye, if a Captain not be findin' good plunder he'll get the black spot!  Ho! But that not be the point me hearties, for this captain has been around the horn too many times to count, and thinks he needs to be telling you kittens a story.  I does tell yee that about ten years ago, a certain Toronto Maple Leafs Fan could not speak poorly enough of them there Socialists, and he be championing the current High Commissioner in Grosvenor Square! Ya har har har, however a man can always change his mind after ten years so we best not be pigeon holing anyone!

Are you saying that there is still hope for me that "aye might join them there Socialists" way of seeing things?    ;D  ;D

You must have misunderstood. I didn't ask you to repeat your attack on Burbot. I asked you to explain what you perceive as the flaws.

Are you capable of that?
