They were biting on the bottom on opening day and the weather was good too. :) I wasn't there :'( but had reports and photos coming to me as usual.

I went out on thursday and caught a few at first light right off the surface, but it died down considerably after that. I was using my fly rods so I'm sure that didn't help but I also didn't see many brought in by bait fisherman. Beautiful day out there though.
