That's a good deal on a TFO. Just a heads up on a few things I've seen. Riverside has some really sweet Fetha Styx rods on blowout. 9' 4pc 8wt for $150 reg $250. They look sweet. these ones I think.

i have a single hander setup i might considerselling first fish i caught on it was a steely too.

Sorry my bad. I was at Riverside today and the Rod is actually cheaper than I quoted. It's on sale for $120 reg $260. It is the Master Series. Any ways a sweet price on a nice 4 piece rod. He is currently out of stock with more on the way.

have you checked out any of the Echo rods? I bought the Solo 8wt for $100 from Fred's and love it.

comes with wicked warranty too.

no I havent, what are they like? What's the action like on  them? I'm looking for a slow to medium action rod

i would say mine is more of a medium-med/fast

it has a good fighting butt too and also came with a tube and sock.

i haven't heard anything bad about the echo rods especially for the price range.

Thanks for all the help guys, today i bought a TFO signature series 8wt from a guy off craigslist...$75, still had the plastic wrap on the cork. cant wait to cast it, feels nice in my hands :) thanks again for the help.
