I know most people are hard pressed to find thirty minutes to watch a Youtube video, but this is worth it.

I wish the Northern pipeline project and Kokish hydroelectric project issues went as viral as this video did, as quickly as it did :(

On that note...If you had time to watch this video, you have time to write a short letter or two! Nothing fancy just a few words!

What really bothers me is that we are not made aware of these things via the mainstream news only some viral video which will fade away.

I agree because the content of this new viral video is about 5-6 years old. This guy is already in exile and hasnt been up to this crap for a while. He is an evil, evil human being but this is old news being used as a ploy to raise funds.

Based on a simple search I found these two articles:

http://ilto.wordpress.com/2006/11/02/the-visible-problem-with-invisible-children/

http://visiblechildren.tumblr.com/post/18890947431/we-got-trouble

Raises a few questions regarding the Kony thing. I know relatively little about the legitimacy of the Kony shindig, but these have some pretty good points.

There is also some funny memes going around which pretty well sum up the whole Kony thing... the best of which says "watch 30 minute video; become social activist": http://memebase.com/tag/kony/

We should not believe everything we see online...take it with a grain of salt and do more research.
